Medical Tourism – Destination Placement Services

NNI’s Medical Tourism “DPS” program provides short-term, full time placement assignments primarily in major tourist destinations across Mexico.

NNI works with leading hospitals and clinics across Mexico’s leading destinations. With every tourist season, local clinics and hospitals see demand for their services swell and patient census rise. In order to address these seasonal needs, NNI provides highly trained bilingual nurses on 3, 6 and 12 month assignments. By partnering with NNI, clinics that depend on tourism can easily manage their staffing needs as patient populations ebb and flow.

Case Study

NNI – Costamed Partnership

Costamed Clinic is a certified private hospital which provides specialized and emergency care to international and local patients located in Cozumel Island, Quintana Roo.

As the main clinic in one of the most important tourist destinations in the country, there is a continuous flow of international patients from various countries for both, emergencies and the Medical Tourism program. NNI nurses provide a vital service since Cozumel Island lacks bilingual and internationally trained staff. All physicians affiliated to the medical team are required to be bilingual, and must be certified by their specialty council.

Costamed is taking advantage of the Nurses Now International’s bilingual nurses who support all the nursing services, hospitalization, intensive care and diagnostic among others. Being trained in Culturally Competent Health Care NNI nurses contribute to Costamed Clinic international recognition.

“This program has been a landmark at CMC since the beginning in June 2011” Carlos Rosado, Medical Director at CMC.
